Everything Communicates: Cool0rs

Here is a micro moment that warmed my brand-strategist heart.

I was signing up for Coolors, a color palette generation site, and got to the very ordinary part of the customer journey where you verify your email. Usually six digits in a box. Functional. Forgettable. An annoying necessity.

Coolors turned the verification code into a color swatch, complete with the hex code and a color name. Mine was "Navy Electric." Delightful!

Such a small thing. And such a good example of how everything communicates.

Your brand isn’t just your logo, your website, or the big campaign. It’s what you say, how you say it, how you behave, and what people experience at every touchpoint in the customer journey.

The strongest brands pay attention to those tiny moments. They use them to reinforce who they are and create little flashes of delight that feel specific to the brand's story.

You might not consciously think, “Wow, what a well-considered brand experience.”

But you feel it.

P.S. I’d be willing to bet that a company making decisions like this has a strong brand strategy guiding them. Just sayin'!
